Bryan Washington, a dedicated Princeton resident, has deep roots in the community. Originally from Houston, Bryan and his wife Bianca moved to Princeton in 2008, quickly becoming integral members of the city.
Over the years, Bryan, known affectionately as Coach Bryan, has played an active role in shaping Princeton’s growth through his unwavering commitment to youth sports, community outreach, and supporting local businesses.
At the heart of their community-driven efforts was The Jym—Princeton, their boxing gym located in historic downtown Princeton. Recently, Bryan and Bianca sold the gym to two local business owners, further demonstrating their dedication to nurturing and strengthening Princeton’s small business sector. The goal was to ensure the gym remained a community hub while helping local entrepreneurs thrive in the area.
Bryan’s extensive background in senior management roles spans a variety of industries, including food and beverage, hospitality, family entertainment, and health and fitness. His experience extends beyond local businesses, having worked with some recognizable brands, even internationally. This diverse expertise has positioned Bryan as a trusted consultant for businesses across the nation, helping them refine their operations and drive growth.
Alongside Bianca and their children—Bryanna, Kieran, and Mayan—Bryan remains deeply committed to Princeton’s future. In addition to his work as a City council member, Councilman Washington serves as the commissioner for Princeton Youth Football and is the President of Panther Nation Texas, showing his dedication to developing young athletes in the community.
Now serving his second term on the council, Bryan is focused on advancing his mission to enhance local parks, support growing businesses, and create job opportunities within Princeton. With a strong emphasis on youth development and sustainable economic growth, Bryan is determined to ensure that Princeton remains a thriving city for all its residents, both now and in the years to come.
