Mrs. Boyd is entering her eleventh year in education.  Prior to accepting her new role as assistant principal at WOE, she served as a middle school math teacher in Lancaster ISD.

Over the course of her career, Mrs. Boyd has served as teacher, coach, and mentor in several districts in the Houston area as well as in the Great Southwest’s very own Cedar Hill ISD.  She was named the 2015 – 2016 Spotlight Teacher at Hemmenway Elementary in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.

Mrs. Boyd is excited to join the WOE family and looks forward to sharing her passion for engaging instruction and student achievement. Her goal is to assist Mr. Davis in working closely with the learning community of parents, families, and community members to ensure that Waterford Oaks continues to be the best learning environment for the students of Cedar Hill ISD.

Mrs. Boyd is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University.  She earned her master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and her principal certificate from Lamar University.

She is happily married to a fellow educator with whom she shares two children.  Both are scholars in Cedar Hill ISD.
