Mayor Pro Tem Brett Franks was elected to serve in Place One in June 2012. Mr. Franks currently serves as the Council liaison to the Parks and Recreation Board and the Municipal Development District (MDD) Board. Prior to being elected to Council, Mr. Franks served on the Parks and Recreation Board of Directors. He is a former member of the Sachse Baseball Association and former member of the Campus Improvement Team at Hudson Middle School. As an Army veteran, Mayor Pro Tem Franks also volunteers his time every year to organize the Annual Memorial Day Event. He is an Orthopedic Physician’s Assistant, and his family has lived in Sachse since 2000.
