After serving Sunnyvale ISD as one of the most beloved teachers and coaches in Sunnyvale history from 1999-2015, Mr. Ben Wright continued his committment as a Raider by joining the SISD Board of Trustees in 2017. He serves as the board’s representative for the Sunnyvale Education Foundation and is a member of the PTA. He has also been an active member of the Long-Term Facilities Planning Team (2017).

Ben graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1999 and holds two Masters Degrees – one in Educational Administration (2003) and one in Anatomy and Physiology (2001). Both advanced degrees are from Texas A&M University at Commerce.

Ben and his wife, Karen live in Sunnyvale. They have three daughters who all currently attend (or will soon attend) Sunnyvale ISD schools.
