Becca Kinnear was elected to the Board of Trustees in May of 2025. Becca is a graduate of Allen High School and a long-time volunteer for the district and community, and she comes from a family of educators.

During her time in Allen, Becca has served as a Reed Elementary class parent, an Escadrille volunteer, a Band Booster Club officer, and a member of Allen ISD’s Project Kids. She has also been an active volunteer in the PTAs at Reed, Curtis Middle School, Allen High School, and the Allen ISD Council of PTAs.

Becca has also served on the district’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, is a Friend of the Foundation For Allen Schools, and a volunteer for the Big Z Foundation, which supports the families of pediatric cancer patients. Becca has served the McKinney/Allen Community Bible Study since 2016 as a PreK Teacher and Small Group Leader, and since 2021 as a Coordinator and Administrator.

Becca and her husband, Jeff, are the proud parents of a freshman and a senior in Allen ISD.
