Ms. Stock and her family have called Lovejoy home since 2018. She and her husband, Chad, have five children: Madelyn (6th grade), Russell (3rd grade), Kate (1st grade), Julia (GEM Preschool), and Rachel (Lovejoy Class of 2041!). With three children currently attending Lovejoy schools and two more future Leopards, Ms. Stock brings a long-term, deeply personal investment in the success of the district.
Ms. Stock holds degrees in both elementary education and law. After completing her student teaching, she earned her Juris Doctor and practiced as a commercial litigation attorney on the antitrust team at Norton Rose Fulbright. She later returned to teaching virtually while staying home with her young children. Her professional background—spanning legal analysis, advocacy, and instructional practice—equips her with a solid foundation for policy review, stakeholder communication, and informed governance as a trustee.
Prior to being elected, Ms. Stock served extensively in Lovejoy ISD through a wide range of campus and district roles. She held leadership positions on multiple PTO boards, participated in district-level planning and advisory committees, and helped lead grassroots legislative advocacy efforts focused on public school funding. Her ongoing volunteer work reflects her deep commitment to students, educators, and the broader Lovejoy community.
“I’ve always believed that public education is worth showing up for. Whether I’m helping in the classroom, cheering from the sidelines, or engaging with lawmakers to champion our schools, I want to be where the work is. I believe strong schools are built through strong community partnerships, and I am honored to serve this district. I will continue to advocate for students, support our educators, and work diligently—with transparency, dedication, and care—to help keep Lovejoy thriving.”
