Dr. Belton earned her bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication from the University of Houston and began her career as an elementary teacher. She served in various leadership roles, earning a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and a doctoral degree in Education Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Her experience includes serving as a special education teacher, dyslexia interventionist, fourth and fifth grade support teacher, dean of students, and assistant principal.
Dr. Belton is committed to fostering a school community grounded in the Phoenix 5 core values: Compassionate, Intentional, Empowered, Curious, and Resilient. She is dedicated to ensuring every student thrives academically, socially, and emotionally while being prepared to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
