Anthony Guerrero is our new Principal at Seagoville Middle School. His unwavering commitment to equity has motivated him to do the work necessary to move our most economically disadvantaged black and brown students. He has previously worked and supported teachers by providing interventions to students to ensure minority and EL students meet grade level expectations at Sam Tasby Middle School. Also while at Sam Tasby Middle School, Principal Guerrero was able to close the achievement gap by 66% in Science and move the state and local accountability rating by about 10%.

Principal Guerrero holds a BS in Biochemistry from University of Chicago, and MS in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership. He hopes to continue this work in pursuing equality for all students.
