Councilmember Amy Gnadt is committed to preserving Allen’s strong sense of community while supporting smart growth, public services and educational excellence.

A resident of Allen for nearly 20 years, Gnadt has served on the Allen ISD Board of Trustees for over a decade and volunteered with the Foundation for Allen Schools, Allen Eagle Run and Allen Escadrille Band Boosters. She is a longtime member and current secretary of the Rotary Club of Allen, where she has co-chaired the Allen Rotary Christmas Parade. She also served as president and board member of All Community Outreach and held PTA leadership roles at all school levels.

Gnadt has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and currently works as a product director for general liability, specializing in property and casualty loss prevention. She is a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Certified Professional Environmental Auditor, and holds an Associate in Risk Management certification from the Insurance Institutes of America. Gnadt earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
