Dr. Amber Hope was approved as the first principal of Community Trails Middle School at the February 19, 2024 meeting of the CISD Board of Trustees.

Dr. Hope comes to Community ISD from Garland ISD, where she most recently served as the Secondary Director of Integrated Studies. She has 18 years of experience in education, including time as a principal, assistant principal, instructional design facilitator, teacher, and coach.

She has a doctorate and a bachelor’s from Texas A&M-Commerce, and a Masters from Concordia University.
