Amaris Bravo was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Pre-School and Elementary Education from The University of Puerto Rico, and her master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She’s been married to her husband, Miguel, since 2002, and has two beautiful children, Victoria and Ian.
Mrs. Bravo moved to Texas in 2000, where she started teaching for Irving ISD. Mrs. Bravo taught at Good Elementary for 6 years, John Haley for 4 years, and Keyes Elementary for 1 year as an Academic Specialist.
In 2013, Mrs. Bravo started as an assistant principal at Good Elementary and then moved in 2018 to Thomas Haley Elementary.
Mrs. Bravo is looking forward to continuing to serve the John Haley family and community, as their principal! Her vision for all Bulldogs is to achieve greatness and DREAM BIG!
