Dear Blue Ridge Family,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am honored to serve as your Blue Ridge Elementary School Principal and look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

While I come to you with recent experience as a Secondary Assistant Principal, my previous 25 years in education have been at the elementary level. I have had the privilege of serving in many capacities including administration, instructional coaching, and several years as a teacher in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. As I reflect on my years of experience, I am grateful each has allowed me to support and cheer on students as they achieved goals inside and outside of the classroom.

At BRE, you will find dedicated teachers who are intentional in supporting the growth of all students. We work together, as a community of educators, to ensure the needs of each student are identified and purposeful instruction is planned in order to support them as they discover their love of learning.

Blue Ridge Elementary is a special place with amazing students and teachers, We are lucky to have wonderful support from our parents and the community. Success comes with partnership and we are looking forward to continuing on with the traditions that make BRE the “place to be”. We encourage each of you to take an active role in the successes of our school and look forward to partnering with you.
