She has an undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and her master’s degree from The University of North Texas. She has serving in GPISD for 15 years as a classroom teacher and campus administrator. She began her career as a teacher at Florence Hill Elementary and then at Mike Moseley Elementary. Her leadership journey has taken her to Austin Elementary, Mike Moseley Elementary, Marshall Leadership Academy, Powell Elementary, and Garner Fine Arts Academy.

“I have been a part of so many wonderful programs in our district aimed at the success of our students,” Amanda said. “I have also had the pleasure of working with so many dynamic leaders in GPISD and am so thankful for them.”
